Personality: Ariana is found to be very strange and abnormal to the average Slytherin. Aside from her very dark side, she is extremely intelligent, and picks things up faster than the normal. Nearly every end of year exam she has taken has put her at the top of the year. Except for the subjects she really despises such as Herbology that she finds completely and utterly useless, boring and a waste of time. She loves spending as much of her time in the library, studying the Dark Arts – a topic she adores, and intends to know everything there is to learn about the subject – or any other subject that attracts her interests. When she isn’t found in amongst the books and Ravenclaws in the library, she is found in the air upon a broomstick. Quidditch is another one of her passions and love. Ariana has been on the Slytherin Quidditch team since her third year as a Beater, after convincing the Captain to give her a chance to show them her true strength. (It also helped with her heightened strength due to being half vampire.) Ariana is definitely not the friendly type. She will not help anyone except those that are considered her ‘friends.’ She doesn’t have many friends, but those she does have are exceptionally close to her. She does not trust anyone however, not even her friends.

History: Only very few people know the true story and background of Ariana Morgan. She was born on August 24th, an unwanted birth to a pureblood witch and a vampire. She was abandoned at birth and dumped on the streets for someone to find. After two days and close to death, she was discovered and taken into care by the local orphanage. She grew up with nearly every child within, frightened of her. She had no idea what she was, or why she was, until she was so desperate for answers she managed to escape the orphanage and onto the streets once again. The craving for blood was too strong to hold within the years at the orphanage that when she did get out, she drank two whole bodies of blood in one night.

After six months on the streets at the age of 9, Ariana was taken off of the streets by someone whom she was unfamiliar with, but they seemed kind enough but not too kind to her. After demanding some answers, they were finally answered by this mystery man who came to be named ‘Michael.’ Ariana did not care much about what his name was, but who he was. A vampire he turned out to be, and a relative of her fathers. She soon learnt about her parents, and how he knew them. Her father, James Morgan was a full blooded vampire who had a one night stand with her mother; Casey Marshall, a pureblood witch. Ariana soon became under the guardianship of this man, who after a couple of years she considered him as a near father. At the age of 11 she received her letter from Hogwarts like any normal witch or wizard. Except she had been expecting it ever since she had begun learning the basic magic, thanks to Michael.

In her first year of Hogwarts, Ariana managed to keep her secret of being a half vampire a secret from the students of the school, but the professors knew it before she even came. She gathered a reputation of being bitch and a girl that should be feared. Not many did fear her however, especially the older students, which disappointed her. Seeing that it was the only way she could get people to see her as the person she wanted them to see her as, she was desperate to announce her secret of being a half vampire at the end of her second year at Hogwarts. But doing so would get the whole school and ministry into chaos. Ariana also became to be accepted by the Ravenclaws, which was a little strange to the rest of the school because she was a Slytherin, but after spending so much time in the library, and with one of closest friends a Ravenclaw, they couldn’t deny that she was one of the cleverest students in her year. Her house were very grateful that she was on the Quidditch team in her second year as a beater, with her aggression and power and extra strength, she was quite the hero to them.

Ariana spent most of her 3rd and 4th year at Hogwarts obsessed with the Dark Arts. She discovered it by accident when researching more about her history and her father. It came as a surprise, but after a few hours of reading, she could not find the power to close the book. From then on, she spent nearly all of her free time finding out more and more on the subject of the Dark Arts. She knew she was meddling with dangerous and dark magic, but what was life without a risk?

So far she has not been ratted out or found by the teachers for her knowledge and study of the dark arts, and she very much hope it will stay that way. But Ariana has a hunch that some certain professors are getting suspicious of her, especially her Head of House/ Defence Against the Dark Arts professor: Professor Ravenhurst.
