@sean The night was almost upon Eva. The sun sunk lazily below the line of tress. Hagrid, Eva’s niffler, was curled up sound asleep on her bed after a hearty meal. Little snores erupted from the strange little creature. Eva could not help but to smile. She had prepared her meal much earlier, eaten, and now she waited for the full moon. Well, she was almost ready. She crossed the span of her hut quickly and wrapped her hands around the vile of wolf’s bane that Madam Jasano had prepared for her. She really loved the school nurse. She was quiet, soft and had an air of beautiful maturity to her. She gulped down the wile potion as quickly as she could. It was a pity that sugar made ti useless. However, it was just one of those things that needed to be dealt with. She shrugged the taste off and let the potion settle a little in her stomach. She lay down on her bed next to the little niffler, which then stretched out in comfort. Eva closed her eyes, enjoying the silence of the cabin. She was very peaceful before her transformation. The thing that had been bothering her was finally a reality. Eva could not stand waiting around for something to happen. She took a breath and lulled off for a bit. Her mind drifted to playing in a park when she was young. Her father was laughing, while her mother pushed her on the swing. Eva could not have been more than six years old. A smile stretched across her lips. She wondered whether Nigel would be joining her this evening. In all honesty, she regretted saying yes. She was perfectly happy not to have anyone around. The sun had turned the world red outside. Eva was pleased that it was over a weekday. That meant that students were more likely to be hidden in their dorms and common rooms, attempting to finish up their work. |
