[ESHAE JOSANO]

Eshae let out a long, deep sigh of satisfaction as she sat down on one of the large armchairs in front of the roaring fireplace. The heat that was coming from it warmed her to the very core and in the winter it was just what she needed. Though she had spent the last 20 years or so in the UK she could not get used to long cold winters. She much preferred to be warm and toasty, in the summer months she used to wear as little as was acceptable, but working in a school as their resident medi witch meant she was stopped from doing so during term time. Her heavy robes made her far too hot during the spring and early summer, but as soon as winter set in that heat vanished and she felt impossibly cold.

To her chest she clasped a large mug of Honeydukes hot chocolate, a favourite of hers. sprinkles with little sparkling stars that popped along the top of the liquid like it burned them. She loved the little things about the Wizarding world that made her marvel; she would never, ever be bored with magic.

Jogging up the steps two at a time from his walk outside, Felix was feeling just as cold in the blustery corridors than he did outside in the wind. He pulled his cloak ever tighter and rubbed his hands together as he walked down a corridor off the entrance hall, planning to go to the staff room for a quick coffee before he resumed marking assignments all over again in his office. Passing paintings left and right, he smiled at the ancient knights, lady's and other witches and wizards as they went about their daily business - he would never fail to be impressed with the intricacy and overwhelming diversity of Hogwarts' paintings.

Eventually, he came to the staff room door. He spoke the password that - obviously - only staff members knew, and walked into the vast room. It was full of furniture; at the door, there was a long, rectangular table with seats all around, often used for meetings and such like. After that, there was a fire - currently roaring with invitingly warm flames - and a series of large, wing-backed and squishy chairs. Felix looked longingly at them and walked over. He noticed that one was filled with Eshae, the school nurse. "Ah." He said in surprise. "I didn't see you there, Eshae." He said with a smile on his face, warming his hands by the fire. "It's very cold out." He noticed she had a drink already. "I would have offered you a drink, but seemingly you beat me to it!" He laughed. "How are you?" Felix walked a few paces to the left and opened a cupboard that held the mugs and drink-making supplies.

Startled by the noise of the portrait door opening, Eshae took a deep breath. Sometimes the silence still startled her, Hogwarts was new and vibrant but some habits - however short they were needed for - never went away. She smiled though for all the staff in the school there were few who were truly as polite as Felix. He had made himself quite well known in the school for his gentlemanly acts. Many of the females in the school, students and staff alike had taken a very fond view of him and his quirks.

"Do not be silly, Professor. You could not have known, neither would I have expected you to be so kind."She said gently. She was far less harsh than the previous medi-witch. Possibly due to her not having been at the school as long and growing hardened by the many injuries, self inflicted or accidental that would come her way. "If you are being adventurous, you are more than welcome to try some of the Hot Chocolate I left in there. Honeydukes really has outdone themselves on their range of drinkable chocolate. And I couldn't quite help myself last time I was at Hogsmede." She laughed softly, turning herself in the chair to watch the Professor. He really was very handsome, but the poor boy would be far too young for her. She knew that the younger staff probably saw her as a more motherly figure. It came with her adopted title of "Madame." Given to those who were head of any medicinal practise. Apparently, the position of head medi-witch was enough to warrant the name.

"You do look rather full of the chill, Felix. You had better watch out. I wouldn't want to have to treat you for symptoms of the frost." She said, quirking an eyebrow and taking a long sip of her hot chocolate.

Felix smiled at Eshae's compliments, he was a modest man, but it still made him happy when he received a compliment. "Manners cost nothing, I think." He smiled and turned back to the cupboards, deciding which brand of coffee he was likely to choose. When Eshae spoke about a specific type of hot chocolate from Honeydukes, his intrigue was pricked. "Hot chocolate, you say?" He hummed to himself, deliberating whether or not to go for the sweeter alternative. "Thank you, you are too kind - I think I'll try it." He turned back and picked out the hot chocolate powder, poured hot water on it and added a sweetener.

Stirring his mug magically, Felix walked back over to the comfy chairs and sat down, sighing contentedly. He took a tentative sip and was delighted that the nurse did not exaggerate. "This is lovely!" He said, taking another sip - it was too hot at that point, but it was no doubt very tasty. "I will have to pay a visit and buy some for my office."

Felix laughed lightly. "Yes, I was quite cold, but this drink and the fire have warmed me up a treat." He took another sip and turned to Eshae once more. "Have you had to treat many for symptoms from the cold this winter so far? Though, the courtyard was mostly deserted, so I expect many of the students are huddled by their common room fires!"

"They may cost nothing, but few are willing to Indulge us old hearts." She said, crossing her legs and inhaling the deep, rich chocolate scent of her drink. She herself had chosen a slight raspberry flavour; a favourite of hers. The indulgent sensation she got when drinking it warmed her completely. She may not have a man in her life, but with the little time she had to herself this would have to do for her.

She grinned when Felix commented on the flavour of the Hot Chocolate, she enjoyed spreading the happiness it brought. "You are more than welcome to take some of my supply. You may actually be doing me a favour, I'm quite sure I have developed quite an unhealthy addiction." She was of course joking, but there was a slight truth. All work and no man, meant her only fun came in the form of Honeydukes ... she was a very popular customer on the Hogsmede weekends.

"Not as yet, the students are smart enough to stay inside this winter. I remember last year we had a struggle coping when they decided the lake was good to ice skate on. And that was with two medi witches. I'm unsure how I will cope if we have a repeat of that this year." She sighed.  The previous year, there had been many cased both of the students falling into the lake when it was not quite frozen, and from the creatures lurking beneath the surface attacking any students who went too far out from the shore. "This year is going to be a struggle with just one of me. I'm beginning to wonder if it was a good idea accepting this position so quickly."

Felix smiled at Eshae's comment, nodding approvingly. Sat down, Felix felt relaxed and comfy - he was in a comfy chair, drinking a tasty drink in front of a warm fire. The staff room was used, primarily, for things such as this - it was there as a retreat for staff members to get away from the work, stress and sometimes frustration that being a professor in a top wizarding school such as Hogwarts can bring. He closed his eyes for a moment and savoured the delightful taste of the drink. He opened his eyes again when the nurse stated that he could take some of her supply. "Oh, no, I couldn't do that. Thank you for the offer though." He took another sip - his mug was emptying quickly. "It will be a rare treat, rather than a constant thing, I think. I mustn't have too much!"

Listening to Madam Eshae's comments on the students, and how most of them were sane enough to stay warm this winter so far, he was surprised. "In my time here as a student, the vast majority of students were running around in the grounds in all weathers!" He laughed. "Perhaps the students today are more intelligent than we were." He smiled to himself, remembering the old nurse, and how she was so harsh with stupidity that led to injuries and illnesses, and continued, commenting on Eshae's worries that she may have accepted her position too soon. "Oh, no, you're doing a great job, don't worry about that. If you're worried about coping on your own, perhaps you should see the Headmaster, I'm sure he could organise some extra help for you." Felix knew exactly what Eshae meant - it was a lot of work being the one-and-only nurse for around a thousand people.

"I insist. Think of it as saving me from myself. I don't think going on four of five cups of Hot Chocolate per days is a good example of a 'healthy' diet. The students shall think me nothing more than a hypocrite."She joked lightly, waving her hand and putting her mug down for a moment. There was certainly nothing wrong with a love of the drinking chocolate, but at the levels she consumed it it seemed rather like an unhealthy addiction. And she was getting a slight bulge on her stomach which she was sure had been caused by her ridiculous habit. "You will be doing me a favor, sweetie." She insisted, giving him a playful wink. 

She let her smile falter only slightly at the comment of how the students had always been rather adventurous. "I would not remember, Hogwarts was only my home for a single year. I studied abroad after that." She said, in quite a finite manner. Indicating that she would say no more on the subject. "But if you think they are becoming wiser I will not jinx it by saying otherwise, merlin knows I shall need all the luck I can get this year. I only dread to think of the injuries the students will come back with after a Quidditch match in this weather. They may as well sign a waiver saying they want to get themselves killed. I never could stand to watch the game." She huffed. Quittich was not a sport to be watched by someone with a disposition like hers. From working in St Mungos she knew how easily children and young teenagers could injure themselves in what was considered a 'harmless' sport like Quidditch.

"You may be right Felix. I am just so worried that I shant be able to maintain the standard of care that the school is used to. I worry that I will not be taken seriously and be seen as too gentle with the students. I know many of them used to fear their old medi-witch and would make sure not to harm themselves. But they do not have the same feelings toward myself ... as far as I am aware. What happens if they are careless, thinking I will be there to help them if things go wrong, and I am caught up in dealing with other students? I cannot leave someone suffering for too long ... it is not in my nature." She said worriedly, gnawing softly on her lip in worry as she pondered the year ahead of her. Already she had found that she was out of stock on many potions and salves and the year was not even half way through. There was alot that could go wrong between now and the Christmas Holidays.

"Well, if you insist, thank you very much." Felix said, raising his mug as a tribute to Eshae. "We can share the burden of a scrumptious load of hot chocolate together, then." He smiled and resumed drinking the mug, although now he was sipping instead of gulping, to make it last as long as possible. "Although, if I may be so bold, you do not need to worry too much, you look in fine health to me." Felix did not show any averse reaction to her calling him sweetie, but he felt an odd sense of embarrassment - he knew that Eshae sometimes spoke like that to other members of staff, but it still made him feel a little odd. He smiled back at her though, and nodded in agreement what she was saying.

After Felix stated that he thought students of today were perhaps a little more level-headed than they were in his school days, he then sat back and listened to the older nurse, interested to hear her account of what it was like in her day, perhaps 15 years before his time. He raised his eyebrows at hearing that she was only at Hogwarts for a year, and then she was moved abroad. Felix had never studied abroad, even though he was actually born in France, but he was interested in how the other magical schools in Europe - and beyond - taught their magical children, and whether it was any different to how things are done at Hogwarts. Eshae continued, telling him about her woes regarding the lack of resources and hired help on the hospital wing, and he tutted sympathetically, shaking his head.

"Ah, this is true, our old nurse did have a formidable reputation, but that is not necessarily the right way to go about things." He sat up and turned towards Eshae a little, so he did not have to crick his neck any more than necessary. "Madam Pomfrey was a brilliant nurse, of course, but I think someone in your profession should hold a little more ... benevolence. You may be understaffed, but you make up for it with kindness and efficiency." He smiled and hoped that he settled her worries, he then continued: "As I said, if you talk to the Headmaster, I'm sure he will be able to sort out any stock or staff issues for you. You are a much needed member of staff."

Waving off the comment about being in good health, Eshae couldn't held the smile that crept over her face. She was not adverse to the odd compliment from attractive gentlemen; young as they may be. Felix was one of the younger Professors in the school whose mannerisms were not reflected with his age. He was an old head on incredibly young shoulders. It was nice to see that some of the old ways had not been forgotten by all, that their lessons were still being taught to a younger generation; if not the current one. "You're too kind, Felix you truly are." She said, nodding her head and raising her mug at him.


Finally draining the last of her mug, she set out down with a deep sigh and clasping her hands in front of her. "I certainly would ask the Headmaster, but I wouldn't want to look like I was incompetent so early into this position. Nothing worse than thinking you've put trust in the wrong person." She admitted, looking down at the fire and holding her face stern. "It's rather intimidating. I am far older than alot of you Professors but you hold yourselves far better than I do, and I have been working in medicine since I was in my early twenties, studying it from my early teens!" She could tell she was becoming frustrated and pinched the bridge of her nose tightly before taking a deep breath.

"There will be fewer mistakes forgiven of me, I am old enough to take responsibility for my job, failures and all. And I would take it as a personal failure if I did not instil an element of trust in the faculty. Madame Pomfrey may have appointed me her replacement, but compared to her I am nothing but a girl straight out of the skillet into the Aga." There was alot to think about for someone in her position, sure Paediatrics was her field and she was almost at the top of that area of medicine. But that did not mean she was incapable of mistakes, or that she was able to step into the shoes of the witch who had been doing the job she was expected to, for over 60 years before her retirement. Madame Pomfrey had been in medicine when the newest treatments had arrived on the market and she was at the forefront of all medical emergencies. When people were in trouble, they called to her rather than St Mungos. Eshae may not admit it out loud, but it was obvious that was was scared of making errors.

Eshae waved off his veiled compliments with a wry smile on her face, but he could tell that she was flattered. Felix did not flirt on purpose, but he sometimes got the impression that others believed he was vying for their attention, which he does not attempt to do. However, if he made people feel good about the attention he gave them, whether they thought there were any hidden feelings there or not, he was happy - all Felix wanted to do was to make people feel good about themselves. "No no, just saying what I see." He smiled at Eshae and drank the last dregs of hot chocolate in his mug. He sighed and lay back on the chair, looking out of the window for a moment, before he sat up and noticed that Eshae had, too, finished hers.

Resting his mug on the edge of the chair, he listened to Eshae talk about how she didn't want to make it seem like she wasn't capable, how the other staff members hold themselves better than her and that she was worried about failing in her job. Felix shook his head and frowned sympathetically along, but did not interrupt the older nurse, allowing her to vent her worries in a safe space. When she finally finished, he sat up again and looked at the nurse. "I'm sure the Headmaster will forgive mistakes, we are all human and therefore susceptible to them." He cleared his throat. "From what I hear, you are providing excellent care to anyone that requires it. Yes, Madam Pomfrey's shoes are difficult to fill, but you're doing a great job. However, don't expect to be as good as she was so soon, she was here a long time, and built up her experience and knowledge along with it." He continued. "And regarding how well some of us professors seem to hold ourselves ... between you and me, I've made plenty of mistakes in my short time here, so you needn't feel self-conscious over that!" Felix laughed, stood up and smiled at Eshae. "Can I get you another mug, Madam? Or would you like something else?"

"I guess you are right, Felix. I may be blowing this a little out of proportion. I've not been this nervous about work since I became head medi-witch in the Paediatrics ward in St Mungos. It's a very strange feeling." She gave a low chuckle. "But from what I have heard from your students, they haven't noticed a single mistake you've made. They are all incredibly enamoured by you." She pulled her legs up onto the large armchair and pulled her work robes over them to keep herself warm. The castle was well protected and was as air tight as a building of its size could be, but the chill of an old building never went away. 

"If you're offing sweetie, I would love another mug."  She smiled and reached down for her mug, offering it to the Professor. "You're a darling." 

Keeping her eyes focused on him, she decided to turn the conversation around on the young Charms Professor. "Speaking of, how are your students this year? Are they taking to the art of Charms as well as you expected?"

"It's completely understandable, Madam." Felix said reassuringly. "Being a school nurse has its own individual challenges, and I would imagine is somewhat different to your previous work at St Mungos." Felix did not want to make assumptions about how different or otherwise working at Hogwarts is to working at a conventional, public hospital, it may be almost identical, but he imagined that there were different stresses and strains working at Hogwarts. When Eshae commented that she had heard that Felix's students were "enamored" by him, he blushed slightly and waved his hand in a dismissive fashion. "Oh, nonsense." He laughed. "They're probably the ones that I awarded an O to." He laughed, stood up, walked over and took the mug off Eshae, then bustled over the drinks making area to whip up another hot chocolate for her.

Whilst he was stirring the mix into the mug, he turned back to the nurse and answered her question about how his experience of charms classes have been so far. "Well, as a whole." He picked up the mug, walked over to Eshae and handed her the mug, handle first. "The students are mostly attentive, and usually have a basic grasp of what I'm talking about, which helps." He walked back over to the cabinet and pulled out a bottle of water, his favoured beverage. "There are a few that either don't have a clue what I'm talking about, or don't want to know, but I think I'm getting through to them - slowly, but surely." He unscrewed the cap, took a quick sip and walked back over to his chair.

The morning had been a rushed one. Eva had been teaching one class after another on the properties of unicorns. She was lucky enough to have found two baby unicorns in the forest that appeared to be orphans. Eva had made a small pen for them that extended from the back of her hut into the forest. The young unicorns were exquisite and the classes had certainly enjoyed getting closer to them. Full grown unicorns were difficult to come by, especially for the less adept at understanding magical creatures and the whims of the forest. Suffice to say, Eva needed a break. She slowly meandered up to the castle, an excursion she did not take too often. She rarely needed to. Perhaps she would go to the staff room – a surprise indeed. She had plenty of beverages in her hut. This trip was for the possibility of companionship. Little grunts followed her, as her little Niffler followed her up to the castle. She knew havoc would probably ensue, but he needed a walk. For the most part, the creature was very well trained. Eva always had a shiny object handy to distract him though. She wandered through the main entrance hall, with Hagrid tailing closely behind her. Eva kept a suspicious eye on him as he eyed up the female student’s jewellery. She made it to the staff room without too much incident. She gave the password to the door and wandered in. The mumbles of two professors met her – a male and a female. Hagrid sniffed at the door before quickly scuttling inside… and then continued to scuttle until he found the feet of Professor Felix, who was walking back to his chair. Little grunts of excitement ensued before he leapt up against the man, a little too vigorously. There were some shiny buttons just out of reach. The long snout reached a little inappropriately! “Hagrid!” she warned, her voice getting a little nervous. Suffice to say the little black ball of fluff did not listen. “I am so sorry!” She quickly rushed up to the pair.

"I'm glad to hear they are not causing you undue stress, Felix. Charms can be an exceptionally tricky subject to learn especially as a student. I found it almost impossible to grasp, even theoretically until i was in my late teens." Eshae laughed to herself and accepted the mug of freshly made chocolate. Inhaling the smell deeply and grinning at the young Professor. "I was an absolute horror to teach. I could never let myself be corrected. It posed my tutors a terrible question, correct me and be screamed at or spoken ill of, or not correct me and let me live in my wrong-ness. Thankfully, they decided not to take the easy road." She did not blush at her past mistakes. She accepted that in her past she was not the easiest student, but it only made her work for the better. "They will get there in the end, especially under your tutelage."

However, the quiet room was broken when another of the Professors entered the staff room. She turned in her chair and gave a welcoming smile to Eva, the medi-witch had spent a long time with the girl when she was given the responsibility for her monthly welfare. She found her refreshing and didn't take herself too seriously, while retaining a sense of dignity and self respect. It was a rare and welcome addition to those she knew.

However, it wasn't Eva who was taking the attention away from the room. The Niffler which followed her into the room and was making a bee-line for Felix's unmentionables. It caused Eshae to tip her head back and let out a loud belly laugh. She looked back again before continuing the action. Her eyes shut against the sight and she lost control of her drink slightly. Spilling some of the contents of the mug of chocolate down her front. She squealed and cast a very hasty "Scourgify." Before putting her drink down. "I believe, Felix that you have more than just student admirers."

"Again, you are too kind, Eshae." Felix bowed his head, feeling more and more self conscious, but he didn't want to let it show in his face. "Charms is considered by many to be a tricky subject, but I hope that I make it as accessible and easy-to-learn as I can." He then laughed at Eshae's account of her own time at school, trying to picture the well-to-do school nurse that always strikes an imposing but friendly image to professors and students alike playing up in school, it was rather like the old, famous Headmaster Albus Dumbledore going to a strip club. "Well, your attitude in school seemingly didn't dampen your career prospects." He smiled at the successful and incredibly talented nurse, and he was glad that they had her at Hogwarts, rather than at her previous post in St Mungos.

Taking another sip from the bottle of water, Felix started to walk back to his comfy chair, but then a lot of things happened at once. First, the door burst open, and a teacher he had never met before came in. She was, like many of the professors at Hogwarts, incredibly pretty, and he smiled at her. She had a sophisticated look about her, and she seemed to be around Felix's own age, perhaps even a tad younger. However, from what he could see, her eyes betrayed her, and looked like the eyes of someone who had seen more than someone her age had any right to. She seemed to be an interesting character, which was enhanced by what happened next.

A small, ferrety little creature preceded the teacher in, and immediately started scurrying around. Eventually, the creature made a bee-line for Felix, and started trying to nibble off buttons, and also his pocket watch, which was tucked into his jacket. Yelping, Felix jumped back away from the Niffler, spraying water everywhere. Felix pulled out his wand and cleaned the spilled water, he then put his wand away, laughing. "You're an adorable little thing, aren't you?" He said to the Niffler. He then looked up at the new professor and shook his head. "No matter, no harm was done." He put his bottle of water down and walked over to her. "I'm Felix, Felix Fairbourne. I don't believe we've met officially?"

The chaos that unfurled because of the little niffler was one of mirth. Eva could not help but grin at the situation and the wonderful humour that the other professors were taking. “Hagrid!” her voice raised a bit, growing a stern edge. After Felix had jumped back the small creature was happy to trundle back to Eva’s side and flop down. It sighed contentedly. Well, examining Felix, getting a frisk of that was definitely something to be content about. The sound that had come out of the professor’s mouth was rather humorous. Eshae’s reaction was simply priceless though. The comment she made, made Eva’s eyes widen substantially. Luckily, Felix found no foul in the little creature’s actions. Hagrid whined affectionately at Felix’s words and looked strangely pleased with himself. Eva could only shake her head. “No we haven’t met officially,” she said smiling. “I am Eva Pauw.” Eva, in true form, offered her hand to be shaken. She always introduced herself to men in that what. Perhaps it was just her weird way of asserting herself to be an equal. “I’m not interrupting, am I?” she questioned shyly, looking between the two professors. Eshae was an exceptionally talented nurse that could brew up the trickiest of potions. Felix was a master at charms (perhaps both magically and personally). She felt a little small the company of such magical greats.

Not at all dear, don't you worry yourself. We were just enjoying a rare moment of sanctuary." Eshae did adore the Care of Magical Creatures professor. She had a quicker tongue and an even quicker wit. She never failed to make her laugh and she had been made to get to know her very early on in her term as Medi-Witch for the school. She felt honoured that she was trusted to brew all the potions herself; but she never trusted anyone bar herself to make sure the students and staff were correctly medicated. So it had been a rather abrupt wakening when she was informed she would have to brew things such as Wolfsbane.

She watched, amused as someone who she had come to believe her friend greet a fellow professor. Good for her! She never came out of her little hut and it was a rare occasion to see her outside of their monthly meetings. "How have you been feeling?" She said, ever the Medi-Witch "I have some hot chocolate you could have if you're needing a little pick-me-up?"

Laughing as he cleaned up the spilled water from the Niffler incident, Felix watched as the little creature trotted back over to its master and sat down. Walking over to the unknown professor, Felix extended his hand in greeting, and she shook it, introducing herself as Eva Pauw. "Nice to meet you, Eva. I take it you're the Care of Magical Creatures professor?" He smiled and nodded towards the Niffler at their feet, now curled up, content. Felix hadn't seen a Niffler since his time as a student at Hogwarts, but he recognised one when he saw one in books or, like at that moment, in reality. Bending down, he stroked the little, fluffy creature, before he stood up, and walked back over to the chairs where Eshae was sat.

"Oh, no. We're just chatting, and you're more than welcome to join us, if you like." Felix walked past his previous seat, and instead sat on the chair one to the left, so Eva would have a warm, prime seat in front of the fire, and she wouldn't feel like she was ostracized from the conversation being out of the way. Sitting down in the comfy - but cold - chair, Felix listened to Eshae talk to Eva. It was obvious that introductions were not necessary in their case, but rather they seemed to know each other. Following the conversation, Felix deduced that Eva has been unwell recently. "I can definitely testify to the tastiness of the hot chocolate!" Felix said, grinning at Eshae. "However, I must only have one cup. One can only have too much, or liberties may be taken." He winked at the professors, sipping the bottled water contentedly.

Eva smiled at the welcome her fellow professors were giving her. It was true that she rarely ventured into the castle, except for staff meetings and getting her Wolfs Bane. “Yes I am,” she said smiling. She did not have to guess which subject Felix taught. The stuents raved about him in their classes. They were oddly affectionate towards the man. Well, the female students were and Eva could not fault them thus far. The man seemed kind and courteous while being good looking. Although, she could not say for certain that he was a good man or even a great man. That only came with time. Keeping that in mind, Eva always had a little bit of a wall placed up around her. However, he was also kind to little Hagrid. Eva had to give him some grudging respect. “I’ve been feeling well,” she said guardedly, knowing that Eshae could not remove herself from the role of a healer. She shifted uncomfortably and took the open place by the fire, unaware that it had been Felix’s seat. If she had known she would have been mortified. Little Hagrid, however, scuttled over to Felix and jumped on his lap. She really did not needed it advertise that she had been ‘unwell’ lately. She already looked a bit haggard for her liking and Nigel knew too much. However, Eva forced an uncomfortable smile.

"Here, Felix you can have my seat sweetie and I'll make her some hot chocolate." Eshae said brightly, pleased to see Eva at least speaking to someone else. She worried for the poor girl, not interacting with anyone but her creatures ... and occasionally herself must be a tiresome and lonely world. Jumping up from her seat after placing her own drink on small table beside her chair she walked over to the cupboard and indicated for Felix to move, her eyes giving a stern look which clearly was an order more than a request. The Professors were no more than children to her, and sometimes she found herself acting as if they were. "Now, do you want to have the one with the popping candy, the hint of chilli or something with a bit more ... kick?" She said with a wicked grin. Hardly anyone knew that a very limited number of her hot chocolates were in fact ... chocolate liqueurs.

She noted Evas rather stern response to her question though, and she quirked an eyebrow in a very matronly expression. "Well I'm shocked you haven't come back to me with more injuries the way you behave." She turned to make the drink and waited for a moment before adding. "What with all those creatures you look after, working those incredibly long days ... and I should hate to see the accidents that cause some of the injuries i see in the Hospital wings from those little monkeys not paying attention. It's a wonder you only come to see me once every so often."
