Atreyu sat alone in his room again he had been avoiding being social,
He constantly blamed himself for what had happened two years ago
And today was the anniversary of the event that had changed him forever.
Atreyu had the good life things in school were great he had a love that he thought
would last forever and he was working on proving to his tribe that he was mature enough to take on a leadership role
As soon as he graduated. Then one fateful night he almost lost everything
It was on break while he was away from Hogwarts, he had gone on vacation with
His girlfriend back home in Canada.The two of them were having such a great time
Together that Atreyu had lost track of the lunar cycle all together this foolishness
On his part cost him the one he loved.It all began after an incident that occurred during his
third year after
Arriving at Hogwarts,Atreyu was attacked by a giant black wolf and he barely
Made it out of the forbidden forest alive and intact, After being viciously attacked
and practically being torn to shreds the young wizard awoke miraculously
healed from all injuries. Atreyu was warned to heed the lunar cycle
by the previous DADA teacher at that Atreyu had no idea what he had
Meant by that.(jump ahead two years to the night of the event)
Atreyu felt the urge again the burning sensation,he thought to himself
"how could he have forgotten the cycle"
The fullmoon now prominent in the night sky he screamed
to his young love "Run!!!!!Hide!!!! I don't want to hurt you!!!".
As she ran into the darkness Atreyu dropped to his knees in pain as his
transformation had began, His eyes began to turn as black as the canadian
Night sky and his bones began to break and shift and reset set and the transformation
Became more intense as the moon bathed his bare skin. As his flesh began to rip and sluff to the
Ground a thick brown Fur took it's place as Atreyu rose from the gore, doning the visage of a beast
Atreyu shook what remained of his former to floor and darted off into the night seeking the stench of
fear that radiated thickly on the dead night air. As all went black and became a thick fog the next thing Atreyu
remembered was being soaked in blood that was not his own and holding the girl he loved gaspd her final words
" my heart is dead and so are you ".
Atreyu has always kept that moment in the back of his mind and since then has maintained
The beast the lived just beneath his skin.
