Candy waited until all of the prefects had filed out of the room before she moved, letting out a sigh in the process. She loved her position and she loved the responsibility, but sometimes the administrative side of it felt like a drag. Whenever prefects gave points, took points, or handed out detentions they were supposed to fill in a form about it, and then it was her job, as a head student, to do all the totaling up and full reports and all that crazy nonsense. She'd told them time and time again that they needed to make sure they filled the forms out in full, but she still tended to find some that wouldn't have a full explanation, or they wouldn't write the name of the student they were taking points from. She shuffled through the forms she had with her in that moment and pulled out one that caught her attention. Points awarded to Jo. Who was Jo? How many points? What house was 'Jo' in? Now she had the fun job of trying to find that out. Still, Candy loved the role and she wanted to do her best at it, so if it meant a few tedious hours trolling through paper trails? Well, so be it.  It was worth it.

Althea felt her stomach clench slightly as she sat in the compartment waiting for all the prefects to arrive. Once they had all arrived, she stood up and glanced briefly at the head boy who nodded. "Congratulations on all the new prefects on being selected" She said smiling at them as they all patted each other on the backs. "I know it's a huge honour being selected and I can't wait to work alongside you all this year". She paused, meeting everyone directly in the eye. "Just know that being a prefect is a huge task and you are all expected to set an example for all the students, I don't want any complaints that you're abusing your position because trust me the headmaster can just as easily remove your status as prefect" She looked around again making sure every one understood the role they had to fill.

She turned around and picked up some parchment and gave everyone a piece of parchment. "This is a roster for patrolling different compartments on the train, make sure no one's causing trouble especially for the first years. I want them to enjoy their first ride on the Hogwarts express. When we reach the school our duties for the year will be given to us by the headmaster, any questions?" she asked looking around. When no one spoke up she said "That's all for now, make sure you all stick to your duties thanks". She waited until everyone had left before she let out a sigh, the worst was over. Next time she'd feel much more at ease addressing her fellow students

Brief roleplay sample of your character in the desired position: Atreyu was a bit nervous being appointed prefect of ravenclaw,But deep down he knew he would do fine plus it give him focus.
Atreyu was doing his rounds when he heard a commotion coming from the courtyard,as prefect he knew he must investigate, as he rounded the corner he instinctively dodged a stray spell,to Atreyu's dismay he witnessed two students having an unsanctioned duel.In his mind he ran through all possibilities of what he should do to bring this to an end,Atreyu pulled his wand and announced to the dueling students"You must stop this now & I'm taking you both to the headmaster"
