James kaminski
James is a seventh year Hufflepuff, and he's bit of a human teddy bear. He's just a really friendly, happy-go-lucky sort of person, who probably qualifies as 'cute' rather than 'hot' in most books. He doesn't believe in the whole 'act like a prick and you'll get the girl' philosophy that some guys swear by, and he'd much rather just be himself and be nice to everyone, and if that means he doesn't wind up in relationships very often... well... fine. He doesn't want to be the sort of guy who goes through relationships like they're going out of business, either. He'd rather be with one person long term than lots of people short term.
He tries his best in class, and he doesn't really have any one area that is particularly a strength over others, but he isn't particularly fond of casting spells against others - not ones that have the potential to harm. Enemies? Who wants those? He hopes he's never in a situation where he has to duel against someone since he's just not like that. James hates judging people based on their houses, too, and while he knows people in certain houses often have certain characteristics, he doesn't use that to assume the worst in people.
James will take the time out of his day to talk to anyone who wants to talk, or help anyone who needs help. Unlike some, he's pretty good at dealing with the emotional stuff, and he's open with his own feelings, most of the time. When it gets down to it, he's just a nice guy who's trying to get by, and get some good grades out of his time in school.
